A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a Cat Food Production Facility (packing & dispatch) in the Long Crendon. We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is seeking an experienced and reliable Senior Production Operator. This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, guiding a team, and keeping a busy environment running efficiently.
Shifts & Pay
* The current shifts are Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00 (30‑minute unpaid break). However, this may change in the future due to a potential move to a 7‑day shift pattern. Flexibility is required to support operational needs
* £15.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities
* Deputise for the Production Lead and run shift briefings
* Working in Production, responsible for the fulfilment of customer orders
* Plan staffing and output to meet daily targets
* Supervise the team and ensure safe, efficient operations
* Oversee goods-in/out, quality checks, and wastage recording
* Manage stock counts and report discrepancies
* Liaise with CX and handle dispatch via Yodel, ChargeBee, etc.
* Act as main contact for carriers and resolve delivery issues
* Maintain site security, staff records, and visitor check-ins
* Support basic IT troubleshooting and returns processing
What We're Looking For
* Experience in production or warehouse leadership
* Strong organisation and communication skills
* Confident using digital tools (Slack, Google Docs, etc.)
* Proactive, reliable, and solutions-focused
* Comfortable taking ownership of a shift
