We're recruiting an experienced nurse for a 24-bed nurse-led specialist mental health unit in Loughborough. The service supports people with complex, long-standing mental health conditions, with a focus on maintaining wellbeing and reducing the need for acute hospital admission.
What the role involves:
* Leading clinical shifts and supporting junior staff
* Managing risk and responding to incidents
* Delivering recovery-focused, person-centred care
* Working within a full MDT including psychiatry and psychology
What you'll need:
* Current NMC registration (RMN preferred, or RNLD/RGN with mental health experience)
* Solid knowledge of mental health legislation
* Experience managing challenging behaviour and complex risk
Structured induction, clinical supervision and progression into leadership. DBS check covered by the employer
