Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Academics is currently recruiting dedicated Support Workers to work in SEND school settings across Huddersfield, supporting pupils with speech, language and communication (SLC) needs.

About the role:
Supporting children with speech, language and communication needs in a classroom setting
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and speech & language specialists
Providing 1:1 and small group support
Helping to implement tailored learning and communication strategies
Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environmentWhat we're looking for:
Experience supporting children with SLC needs (either professionally or personally)
A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for working with children with SEND
