How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Join Kids Planet Central Support as a People Business Partner - South!

    We’re looking for a People Business Partner to join our team and work closely with regional senior leaders and nursery managers in the South, driving our People Plan and embedding People practices across a multi-site environment.

    You’ll play a key role in supporting both the strategic and operational needs of your region, from coaching managers to driving engagement and wellbeing initiatives, all while ensuring our values and culture are deeply embedded and our standards are upheld.

    What’s involved?

    * Strategic People Partnering: Work closely with regional Senior Leaders and Nursery Managers to identify people challenges, deliver practical solutions aligned with business goals, and ensure compliance with OFSTED and EYFS standards.

    * Delivering the People Plan: Implement and embed the regional People Plan, lead key people projects (including acquisitions, TUPE and harmonisation), and drive continuous improvement through data insights and KPI monitoring.

    * Operational HR & Resourcing: Partner with Recruitment to meet regional resourcing needs, manage escalated ER cases, and support People Advisors with complex matters.

    * Engagement, Wellbeing & Culture: Champion engagement initiatives, collaborate with the Wellbeing Manager on wellbeing programmes, and promote a strong values‑led culture across the region.

    * Capability & Leadership Development: Build manager capability through training, coaching, and best‑practice guidance.

    * Cross‑Regional Collaboration: Work with fellow People Partners to ensure consistency, share insights, and address common challenges across the group.

    Skills & Experience Required

    * An experienced HR Business Partner with a strong background in multi‑site environments and a commercial mindset that links people strategy to business performance.

    * A confident coach and influencer who builds strong relationships, challenges constructively, and supports leaders to make sound people decisions.

    * Skilled in managing complex ER cases and guiding others through them, while staying organised and effective in a fast‑paced setting.

    * Experienced in delivering impactful HR projects, with added value for those who have worked on TUPE, acquisitions, or integration activity.

    * Proactive, data‑driven, and analytical, using insight to inform decisions and drive improvement.

    * Ideally brings experience from the childcare or education sector, or from a similarly large workforce (7,000+ employees).

    * CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
