Conveyancing Assistant

Sue Ross Recruitment are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join a busy and growing Conveyancing Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive team, with genuine progression routes and access to further training and development.

About the Role

You will work closely with our Conveyancing Manager, assisting with a varied caseload from instruction through to completion. Matter types include:

* Residential sales and purchases

* Re-mortgages

* New build transactions

You’ll play a key role in ensuring files progress smoothly, providing high‑quality support and maintaining excellent client care throughout.

What We’re Looking For

* 1–2 years’ minimum experience in residential conveyancing (essential)

* Ability to assist with files from start to finish under supervision

* Familiarity with case management systems (training provided)

* Experience using LEAP software (advantageous but not essential)

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

* A proactive, positive approach to teamwork and client service
