🎯 The role

Full responsibility for a Year 1 class, including planning, teaching, and assessment
Deliver engaging lessons that support the EYFS to KS1 transition
Create a nurturing, structured classroom environment
Work closely with support staff to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

The ideal candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has proven experience teaching in KS1 (Year 1 preferred)
Confident in managing the transition from EYFS into more structured learning
Strong understanding of phonics, early literacy and numeracy
Committed to creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
Passionate about contributing to a faith-based school ethos🚫 Please note: ECTs are not being considered for this role
