Our client is a leader in manufacturing bespoke industrial equipment and solutions to businesses across the UK and overseas.
Following a huge amount of growth over the recent years, they are now looking to expand their Estimating department to work within the projects sector of the business. You will play a crucial role liaising with clients and technical and sales departments to quote for large industrial scale projects across the UK.
The ideal applicant will have previous estimating experience, working within a construction or engineering background. This role is for someone who is wanting to progress themselves into a career and not just a job. Full training and development will be provided into industry specific courses that will enhance your knowledge.
What's involved for the Project Estimator…
Producing quotations and project costings to clients
Work closely with sales and technical teams
Interpreting CAD drawings
Work towards project deadlines
Develop cost estimates for materials, labour, and equipment
Manage client demands
Assist sales team in producing proposals
Evaluate supplier proposals
Analyse financial risksWhat you'll need…
Construction / Engineering or Manufacturing background
MUST have estimation or costing experience
Good computer literacy
The ability to work to deadlines
High attention to detail
Self-motivated and the ability to work on your own initiative
Good verbal and written communication across all levels
Knowledge of CAD, SolidWorks or similar platforms IDEAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
