Year 6 Primary Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Year 6 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Rochdale in September.

This is a full-time position, paid to scale, ideal for a confident practitioner with strong knowledge of Upper Key Stage 2 and SATs preparation.

The Role:

* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons for a Year 6 class

* Prepare pupils effectively for SATs assessments

* Track and monitor pupil progress, ensuring high standards of attainment

* Provide targeted interventions to support all learners

* Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment

* Work closely with the KS2 team and senior leaders

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Have recent experience teaching in Upper KS2 (Year 6 preferred)

* Demonstrate strong SATs knowledge and assessment experience

* Have excellent behaviour management skills

* Be committed to raising standards and achieving the best outcomes for pupils
