Your role here is not to fight behaviour, but to teach.
Across the week, you will work with mixed‑ability classes, delivering structured, purposeful lessons that prioritise clarity, consistency, and measurable progress. You will plan lessons carefully, not to impress, but to ensure students understand what they are learning and why it matters.
What You Will Actually Be Responsible For
This role is built around professional teaching practice.
You will:
Plan and deliver lessons with clear learning objectives
Establish calm, predictable classroom routines
Communicate expectations clearly and consistently
Adapt teaching for learners who need support or challenge
Assess work regularly and use feedback to drive progress
Maintain accurate records of attainment and engagement
Contribute to planning discussions and curriculum refinement
Work collaboratively with colleagues rather than in isolation
Required Knowledge and Skills
Experience supporting primary‑aged pupils
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Clear spoken English
Ability to motivate and encourage learners
Organised and reliable approach
