How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The SAP S/4 Migration Data Lead role is responsible for overseeing all data-related activities for the S/4 migration project as part of the global PGT program. The role ensures the successful extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and migration of data from SAP ECC to SAP S/4 HANA and is critical to enabling a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.

    The role acts as the central point of coordination between business and technical teams ensuring data integrity, governance, and compliance throughout the full project lifecycle.

    The role has extensive interaction with PGCS and global PGT leadership, all functional SAP user groups, the project delivery teams in PGCS and global S&T, as well as core project teams in PMO and change management to ensure project success.

    This is a Specified Purpose Contract role for up to 18 months.

    Responsibilities:

    Business Data Strategy & Governance

    * Drive the business-side data strategy for the SAP S/4HANA migration program for PGCS.

    * Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and project data teams to ensure alignment and eliminate communication gaps.

    * Establish governance processes to support data-related decision making throughout the project lifecycle.

    Data Cleansing & Data Quality Management

    * Lead the data cleansing initiative, where relevant, in collaboration with business users within ECC production and MDG systems.

    * Ensure business ownership of data quality and drive remediation of legacy data issues before migration.

    * Monitor and track progress of cleansing activities to meet migration readiness timelines.

    Data Migration Strategy & Workshops

    * Support and facilitate business workshops and working sessions to align on the data migration strategy.

    * Provide clarity to stakeholders regarding migration scope, transformation rules, and validation expectations.

    * Ensure business understanding and agreement on migration approach.

    Data Validation, UAT & Business Sign-off

    * Work closely with business teams to design and execute data validation processes

    * Facilitate execution of UAT cycles and obtain formal business sign-off on test outcomes.

    * Identify and plan optimisation and improvements to UAT processes in advance of cutover preparation and go live.

    Blueprint & Requirements Gathering

    * Lead blueprint and requirement-gathering sessions with sector business and IT teams, including:

    * Designing remediation and enhancements for data maintenance tools.

    * Defining field mappings required for data migration, including mandatory changes such as Vendor/Customer to Business Partner (BP) conversion.

    * Partner with business to activate new functionalities in S/4HANA (e.g. ePPDS).

    Business Readiness for Go-Live

    * Support the project team in ensuring business readiness for go-live, including:

    * Identifying business users requiring training on data changes and new processes.

    * Preparing training plans based on user availability and project timelines.

    * Governing execution of training programs and escalating risks to program management when needed.

    Qualifications:

    Key Skills and Experiences

    * Proven experience leading data migration workstreams in large-scale Digital Projects.

    * Strong understanding of SAP data structures, valuestreams (e.g. RTR, MTD, OTC etc.) and integration points.

    * Experience with data cleansing, data quality management, and governance frameworks.

    * Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence, align, and gain commitment across functions, geographies, and levels of the organisation.

    * Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.

    * Experience in managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.

    * Strong Analytical and problem solving capabilities.

    * Demonstrates agile and resilient leadership, adapting quickly to shifting priorities, navigating volatility, and guiding teams through change with clarity and confidence.

    * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

    For the purposes of external advertising we have called this role a SAP S/4 Migration Data Lead.

    However please note that the internal job title the successful candidate will be Platforms & Solutions Principal
