How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Your new role

    Support the implementation of a new expense and travel system.
    Process purchase invoices, approximately 150 to 200 per month.
    Process sales invoices, approximately 150 to 200 per quarter.
    Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports and ensure outstanding balances are chased promptly.
    Prepare monthly accounts payable reports, investigating debit balances and overdue payments.
    Maintain the fixed asset register monthly and complete the reconciliation as part of month end.
    Perform weekly bank reconciliations across multiple bank accounts and resolve discrepancies or queries.
    Support staff credit card expense processing.
    Review staff expenses, ensuring correct support, coding and VAT treatment.
    Prepare fortnightly payment runs.
    Support the preparation of monthly prepayments and accruals for the group entities.
    Assist the Finance Manager with analysis and information required for the monthly management accounts.
    Provide support during the audit process.
    Onboard new suppliers and customers onto the NetSuite system. What you'll need to succeed

    1 to 3 years' experience in a finance or accounts role.
    Intermediate Microsoft Office experience, including Word and Excel.
    Proactive, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work unsupervised.
    Good team player, able to work effectively within a small team where ad hoc tasks can arise. Flexibility and a willingness to get stuck in are key.
    Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to colleagues.What you'll get in return
