As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and selling a comprehensive range of waste management and recycling services to commercial clients.
You will work with businesses across a variety of sectors, offering tailored, value-led solutions rather than competing on price alone. This is a field-based role suited to someone who thrives on autonomy, relationship-building, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and secure new business opportunities within your designated area
* Sell a full range of services, including:
* Commercial waste collections
* Recycling services
* Total waste management solutions
* Build and maintain strong client relationships
* Deliver consultative, bespoke solutions based on customer needs
* Negotiate contracts within defined margins
* Manage your pipeline effectively
The Candidate:
* You must have field sales experience from within the Waste Management Industry
* Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
* A proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative
