How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    M&E Project Manager

    Watford 

    £70,000 - £80,000 + 4.5k car allowance + Bonus + Clear route to project director + training and development opportunities + more!
    (office-based + site travel)

    If you’ve built your career delivering M&E packages on proper commercial projects not residential blocks this will be right up your street.
    I’m working with a growing contractor who operate as a design, engineering and build business, delivering complex laboratories, hospital environments and pharma schemes across the UK. These are highly regulated environments where coordination, quality and detail actually matter so they need people who know what good looks like.

    You’ll be taking ownership of M&E packages ranging from £1m–£7m, sitting within overall project values of £4m–£12m.

    Site visits 1–2 days a week (nationwide projects)
    Small, effective teams (typically 2–3 per project)
    Working closely across design, engineering and delivery teams Requirements:

    Strong M&E project delivery experience on commercial / healthcare / pharma / lab environments
    Comfortable managing full packages, not just sections
    Someone who understands programme, sequencing and quality in live/technical environments Why this role stands out:
