Our client is seeking Assembly Technician to join them on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, local company.
As an Assembly Technician, you will be assisting in the Assembly shop, to build numerous electro / mechanical parts and component.
Duties and responsibilities to include:
* Wiring electrical control panels and equipment.
* Type of panels include switchgear panels for signalling, water industry panels, industrial automation
* Working from produced CAD drawings
* Working closely with Electrical design team
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Electrical Assembly experience
* Self-starting and motivated
* Able to work well in a team
* Familiarity with switch gear systems
* BS7671 18th Edition Certification – (beneficial – not compulsory)
* Interpreting GA mechanical and schematic drawings
What's on offer:
In return, a salary of £28,000 - £30,000 D.O.E / Qualifications
Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-3pm Friday.
