How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    FPnA Senior Analyst

    City of London location (3 days a week in office)

    Banking & Financial Services

    Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic planning and decision-making.
    Collaborate with stakeholders to develop budgets and forecasts.
    Full PnL view.
    Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
    Support the development of long-term financial plans and models.
    Monitor key performance indicators and identify trends or potential risks.
    Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior leadership and board meetings.
    Enhance processes and systems to improve financial reporting efficiency.
    Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.Profile

    FPnA Senior Analyst

    A successful FP&A Senior Analyst should have:

    A strong background in accounting or finance with relevant qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
    Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting within the financial services industry (ideally fintech, payments, fs platform, fs business intelligence, retail or challenger bank, lending but very open to a strong Blue-Chip Commerce & Industry profile as well).
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
    Proficiency in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
    Strong communication skills to effectively present complex financial data.
