Financial Reporting Manager

Marc Daniels are working with a global market-leading company based in Slough to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with experience gained in a Top 20 accounting firm, alongside strong PQE experience within industry.

You will take ownership of the financial reporting process, supporting monthly, quarterly and year-end close activities. The role will also involve preparing high-quality management and statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery across all reporting deadlines. Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, you will play a key part in improving reporting processes, strengthening controls and supporting technical accounting matters. This is a hands-on position that will suit someone who enjoys both detail and business partnering in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting.
Produce statutory accounts and support audit requirements.
Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure strong financial controls.
Support technical accounting matters and complex reporting issues.
Work with wider finance and operational teams to improve processes and reporting quality.
Assist with ad hoc projects, analysis and continuous improvement initiativesQualifications

Qualified accountant, ideally with experience from a Top 20 accounting firm.
Strong PQE experience in industry within a financial reporting or technical accounting role.
Good knowledge of statutory reporting and accounting standards.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
