How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Field Service Engineer
    Location: Outskirts of West London
    Salary: £36,000 - £42,000 per annum + Company Vehicle
    Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

    About the Role
    We are currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Coffee Machine Engineer to join a well-established and growing business operating across the outskirts of West London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Coffee Machine Engineer who enjoys working independently while delivering high standards of service to clients.
    As a Coffee Machine engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing a wide range of Coffee machines across multiple customer sites, ensuring machines operate efficiently and downtime is minimised.
    This is a great opportunity for a Coffee Machine Engineer or Field Service Technician looking for a stable role with a strong salary and minimal overtime expectations.
    Key Responsibilities
    * Install, commission and configure coffee equipment at customer sites in line with company standards and specifications.
    * Service, maintain and repair a variety of Coffee machines across the outskirts of West London
    * Diagnose faults across electrical, mechanical, and software systems.
    * Perform routine maintenance to ensure machines are fully operational, clean and stocked where required
    * Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional presence on client sites
    * Accurately report maintenance activity, faults and repairs to the Service Manager
    * Ensure all work is completed in line with company standards and health & safety requirements
    What We’re Looking For
    * Proven experience working as a coffee engineer or field service technician
    * Good understanding of coffee equipment and beverage quality
    * Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
    * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    * Strong organisational and time management skills
    * Confident and professional in customer-facing situations
    * Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
    * Full UK driving licence
