Key Responsibilities for the Operations Assistant:
Email Management: Handle and prioritise a high volume of booking requests, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.
Scheduling and Coordination: Allocate jobs effectively to a team of mobile engineers, optimising travel routes.
Communication: Liaise with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure timely updates and resolutions.
Timetable Management: Prepare and oversee daily timetables for engineers, ensuring they are equipped for the day ahead.
Forwarding Tasks: Direct emails or booking requests to the appropriate department or individual when necessary.
Operational Support: Provide administrative support to the operations team, including record-keeping, reporting, and tracking job progress.
Process Optimisation: Assist in streamlining operational processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Skills Required for the Operations Assistant:
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage a high workload.
Previous experience within a coordination or scheduling role is desired
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software
Strong communication skills
