What You Will Be Doing
As an HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter you will be responsible for:
Carrying out maintenance and repairs on HGVs, commercial vehicles and trailers to manufacturer standards
Diagnosing faults and conducting vehicle tests as an experienced HGV Mechanic
Completing warranty, contract and retail documentation accurately
Undertaking preventative maintenance to reduce customer costs
Supporting team members and following instructions from the Shift Supervisor as a Commercial Vehicle Technician

What You Will Need
To be considered as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter you will need:
Proven experience as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter within a commercial vehicle environment
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
Organised, methodical and detail-oriented approach
Friendly, professional and confident communicator
Ability to work effectively under pressure independently or as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
HGV Class 1 driving licence (desirable)
