One of London’s leading MEP contractors is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join the team on a Shell & Core commercial development in Paddington.

Role Overview
Working as part of the project delivery team, you will take responsibility for the technical and pre-construction elements of the electrical package, supporting the successful delivery of the project from planning through to installation.
The role requires a technically strong candidate with proven experience managing specialist packages, overseeing technical submittals, and supporting pre-construction activities.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the technical delivery of electrical packages on site

Coordinate and manage specialist subcontractor packages
*
Prepare and review technical submittals
*
Support pre-construction planning, procurement, and technical coordination
*
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams
*
Ensure installations comply with design, programme, and specification
*
Support commissioning and handover processes
*
Monitor quality and resolve technical issues throughout delivery
Requirements
*
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer within the MEP / building services sector
*
Strong experience managing specialist packages
*
Good understanding of pre-construction processes
*
Experience producing and managing technical submittals
*
Strong technical and coordination skills
*
Background on Shell & Core commercial projects preferred
Candidates must have strong technical project engineering experience to be considered.
