How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior Planned Operations Manager

    Leading a £28m investment programme across 58,000 homes

    We are seeking a senior leader in planned maintenance and capital works to take accountability for the delivery of a major £28m planned investment programme.

    This is a high-impact role focused on ensuring homes are safe, compliant, and maintained to a consistently high standard, while driving long-term value and service improvement.

    Scope of the role

    You will provide strategic and operational leadership across planned and cyclical works, including:
    • Kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, windows, and external programmes
    • Multi-disciplinary teams and external delivery partners
    • Large-scale budget management and financial oversight
    • Contract performance and supplier management
    • Compliance, safety, and regulatory standards
    • Long-term asset planning and investment strategy
    The profile

    We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record in:

    Planned works, capital delivery, or asset management
    Managing multi-million-pound budgets
    Leading operational teams and external contractors
    Driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement
    Senior stakeholder engagement across housing or construction environments
    Qualified to CIH Level 4 or willing to work towards
