Are you a hands-on electronics technician who enjoys building, testing, and refining real hardware?
Do you take pride in high-quality assembly and working closely with engineers to bring complex designs to life?
We’re working with an established engineering business developing advanced electronic and RF-based technologies. This role sits within a product development environment, supporting the build and validation of cutting-edge prototypes.
You’ll be at the centre of the action in the lab, assembling, modifying, and fault-finding on complex electronic systems.
What you’ll be doing:
Build and assemble electronic prototypes
Solder small surface mount components and carry out PCB rework
Work from schematics and drawings to build systems
Support prototyping, testing, and fault finding
Keep build records up to date
Help maintain a busy R&D labWhat we’re looking for:
Experience in an electronics lab or assembly environment
Good soldering and rework skills
Able to work from schematics with minimal supervision
Comfortable working with engineers on projects
Keen to learn and get stuck in
Please note you’ll be asked to demonstrate practical soldering/wiring ability as part of the interview process.
