Semi-Skilled CNC Machinist
Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £32,800 plus outstanding benefits once permanent including monthly production bonus
Shift: double day shift due to location and working hours own transport is essential

We have a fantastic opportunity for a semi-skilled CNC machinist to join a well-established and ever-growing company. Our client has sites around the world and is looking for someone to join their Mansfield team. You will be a part of their engineering team who are responsible for keeping machines running and in good condition.

Duties:
* Effective operation of all CNC machines in the machine shop.
* Providing Support in ancillary areas when required.
* Liaise with cell technicians & skilled CNC machinist when required.
* Inspect and work with inspection cell as required.
* Carry out routine housekeeping duties.
* Ensure work order routines are filled out correctly at every stage.
Personal Attributes
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proactive with excellent attention to detail.
* The perfect candidate would have experience working within a machine shop/engineering environment.
* Ability to complete work in a timely manner.
* Previous engineering experience is required ideally with CNC Knowledge
This would ideally suit a college/school leaver who has an interest in engineering (Btec or A Levels in technical subjects would be preferred)
