Pertemps Education are recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEN College in Hounslow that supports young adults aged 19–25 with Special Educational Needs, including ASD and Complex Needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to make a meaningful impact in a post-16 setting, supporting learners to develop communication, independence, and essential life skills.
We are recruiting for long-term placements as well as flexible opportunities.
The Role
Assess, plan, and deliver tailored speech and language interventions
Support learners with communication difficulties linked to ASD and Complex Needs
Work 1:1 and in small groups to develop functional communication skills
Collaborate closely with teaching staff, support staff, and external professionals
Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and progress reporting
Provide strategies and guidance to staff to support communication across the collegeThe Ideal Candidate
Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with relevant registration
Experience working with SEN, ASD, and Complex Needs
Passionate about supporting young adults aged 19–25
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamWhat’s on Offer
