Job DescriptionHays Education are working with a mainstream school based in Anfield who are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant
to join them on a full-time basisThe role will involve:
Provide dedicated one‑to‑one support to a pupil with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)
Support the pupil to access the curriculum and participate fully in classroom activities
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement targets from the EHCP, IEP, or support plan
Adapt learning activities, resources, and teaching approaches to meet the pupil's individual needs
Support communication, language development, and social interaction
Promote emotional wellbeing, self‑regulation, and positive behaviour
Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning
Previous Experience Required
Previous experience working with children with SEN in mainstream or specialist schoolsWhat Hays Education Offers
