Mechanical Supervisor

Fawkes and Reece are currently working with a client who is seeking experienced Mechanical Supervisors to join their team in Bristol on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established M&E contractor on a range of projects.

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be assisting the Project Manager in overseeing the mechanical package across various projects. You will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
• Overseeing installation work carried out by mechanical tradespeople
• Day-to-day coordination of labour and subcontractors on site
• Coordination of mechanical services
• Assisting with ordering labour and materials
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Delivering toolbox talks and site inductions
• Ensuring works run in line with the programme
• Attending site meetings with clients and contractors
• Managing quality assurance on site

The Ideal Candidate:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role
• Holds a valid SSSTS / CSCS card
• Experience working on mechanical projects valued over £2M
• Proven experience overseeing full mechanical packages
• Strong leadership skills managing teams of operatives/engineers
• Motivated with a proactive approach to work
• Excellent communication skills
• Ambitious with a desire to progress their career
