My client is a regional building contractor, which are in the market for a Senior Quantity Surveyor. They operate largely across the Greater Manchester regions. They work within commercial, industrial residential and housing sectors of construction market. Delivering a good variety type of projects across the market.
They deliver a range of design and build projects in industrial and commercial and leisure. Typical values between £5million up around £18million. The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor candidate will have previous design and build experience. They expressed a keen interest in those Senior Quantity Surveyors with some industrial experience.
The successful Senior Project Quantity Surveyor will be commercially astute and be involved in pricing works on selected projects. You will be given ownership and accountability for delivering sub contact packages to projects. Ensuring the best possible value and profit in maintained during and closing of project delivery. As an experienced commercial candidate, you will have the ability to work unaided, managing your own workload and projects.
You will ideally have site experience working for a regional building contractor. The successful Senior Quantity candidate will be proactive and work to their own initiative, delivering schemes following budgets and timescales.
To be considered you need hold the following:
• Full experienced in delivering JCT or NEC forms of contract
• Be qualified to MSc or BA Hons in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
