How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    As Financial Adviser you will provide quality and holistic financial advice to clients to help them meet their needs and objectives. To nurture and grow existing client relationships and funds under management.

    Key Responsibilities as Financial Adviser include:

    * Provide tailored advice to clients on aspects of financial planning including but not limited to investments, pensions, tax planning, inheritance and protection.

    * Conduct regular client reviews, ensuring suitability of advice and keeping financial plans aligned with changing circumstances.

    * Maintain and develop long-term relationships with clients.

    * Create new opportunities for business growth through networking and referrals, arranging appointments with prospective clients to discuss their financial needs and objectives.

    * Adopt the use of advice tools and documents for the provision and evidencing of advice.

    * Ensure all activity is compliant with business standards and recorded appropriately on the CRM.

    * Keep up to date with regulatory changes in the industry to ensure your clients receive the most up-to-date guidance.

    * Effectively work with our internal teams to ensure business is processed in line with compliance standards set by the business.

    * Undertake any other relevant tasks and duties as required.

    Requirements as Financial Adviser include:

    * Holds at least a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice

    * Previous experience as a Financial Adviser with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, providing holistic and full financial advice

    * Experience advising clients on most aspects of financial planning including investments, pensions, inheritance tax and protection (excluding mortgage products)

    * Experience using cashflow modelling software

    * Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

    * Committed to delivering first-class client service and maintaining their professional knowledge and development

    * Honesty and integrity

    * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

    * Highly motivated, with a great work ethic

    * Being agile and adaptable

    * Emotional intelligence

    * Resilient
