About the role
No two days are the same. You’ll provide person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity and choice, helping people live fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Female Support Worker
Key Responsibilities:
* Support people to make their own choices and live in a way that reflects who they are and what matters most to them
* Encourage participation in social, leisure, work and community activities that build connection, confidence and enjoyment
* Promote health and wellbeing, including support with appointments, medication and daily routines
* Build independence step by step, helping people develop new skills, confidence and self-belief
* Provide personal care where needed, always with dignity, kindness and respect
* Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding practices to ensure people are safe, valued and supported
About you
Although previous experience in social care is preferred, it’s not essential. We’re looking for people with the right values, attitude and commitment.
Female Support Worker - You’ll bring:
* Patience, empathy and a genuine respect for people’s individuality and choices
* A positive, encouraging approach that celebrates progress and achievement
* Strong communication skills to build trusting, meaningful relationships
* A willingness to learn and develop, including working towards a Health & Social Care qualification
* Confidence to provide personal support when needed
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins
