We are currently supporting a high-demand ultrasound project with a well-established NHS service in the East of England. Due to ongoing demand, we are looking to build a strong pool of experienced Sonographers for this long-term opportunity.
📍 Location: East of England (Peterborough / Cambridge)
🗓️ Start: ASAP
📅 Contract Length: 12 months
⏰ Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (no weekends)
🔍 The Role
- Non-obstetric ultrasound (minimal MSK / head & neck)
- Adult patients only
- Community-based diagnostic setting
- Initial site-based training provided, followed by independent scanning
- Full training and competency support included (fully paid)
💰 Pay Structure
- £25 per scan (approx. £75 per hour equivalent)
- Minimum 20 patients paid per day
- Typically 21–22 patients booked
- Paid for DNAs (no-shows)
- PAYE only (non-negotiable)
✅ Requirements
- HCPC Registration (essential)
- NHS ultrasound experience
- Strong general ultrasound competency
- Ability to commit to consistent weekday availability
