How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Customer Support Officer/Manager to join our successful helicopter manufacturer, based in Yeovil.  This is a high-profile, customer-facing role where you’ll support the delivery of business-critical projects while ensuring excellent service and communication with stakeholders.  This role is ideal for someone with strong customer support, coordination, and problem-solving skills, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment.

    As a Customer Support Officer, you’ll act as a key link between customers, internal teams, and project stakeholders. You’ll support the smooth delivery of commissioned projects while ensuring customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
    Key responsibilities include:

    Supporting the delivery of customer-focused projects and services
    Acting as a main point of contact for customer enquiries and project updates
    Coordinating tasks across internal teams to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery
    Monitoring project progress, schedules, and performance
    Identifying and managing risks, issues, and solutions
    Gathering, analysing, and presenting customer and project data
    Supporting continuous improvement and service enhancement initiatives
    Ensuring all work is delivered in line with company processes, safety, and quality standards
    Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholdersSkills & Experience

    Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
    Strong ability to collect, analyse, and present information clearly
    Experience in customer support, coordination, or project support roles
    Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (MS Project desirable)
    Strong organisational and planning skills
    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    Confident building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    A proactive, positive, and solution-focused attitude
    A customer-focused professional who takes ownership and accountability with proven experience dealing with highly sensitive and high value contracts
    Someone who can solve problems and anticipate challenges
    Resilient, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure
    Experience with DOORS database management is desirable
