How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrical Site Manager

    About the Company

    Our client is a fast-growing electrical contractor delivering high-quality installations across major commercial and infrastructure projects. With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for quality delivery, they are continuing to expand their team across the South of England.

    The Project

    This role will initially be based on a major, high-profile project in Oxford a large-scale, technically challenging scheme offering long-term work and stability.

    The Role

    They are looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to take ownership of on-site electrical packages, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

    Key Responsibilities

    Oversee electrical installation works on site from start to completion

    Manage subcontractors, labour, and site teams

    Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme and deadlines

    Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance

    Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders

    Monitor quality of installation and ensure compliance with specifications

    Manage materials, logistics, and site planning

    Attend site meetings and provide progress updates

    Requirements

    Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager

    Strong background on commercial or large-scale projects

    Ability to manage site teams and subcontractors effectively

    Excellent knowledge of electrical installations and site processes

    SMSTS / SSSTS (essential)

    Relevant electrical qualifications (18th Edition preferred)
