How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Role

    We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of high-quality residential solar PV, battery energy storage (BESS), and EV charger projects across the UK.

    You will manage multiple projects from initial survey through to customer handover, ensuring full compliance with UK standards (MCS, RECC, BS 7671, G98/G99), on-time completion, cost control, and excellent customer satisfaction.

    This is a key role in supporting the continued growth of our residential solar business in the UK.

    * Lead the full project lifecycle: survey, design review, DNO grid connection applications (G98/G99), installation, MCS certification, and customer handover.

    * Ensure strict compliance with all UK regulations, quality standards, and health & safety requirements (target: zero major safety incidents and 100% first-time grid connection acceptance).

    * Manage project costs, timelines, and gross margin performance.

    * Coordinate with supply chain, outsourced installation teams, DNOs, and internal departments to resolve issues and keep projects on track.

    * Lead, develop, and performance-manage a team of project engineers and installation supervisors.

    * Handle customer communication and resolve any delivery-related issues promptly.

    Key Requirements

    * Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management or related field.

    * Minimum 5+ years in solar/storage project delivery in the UK, with at least 3+ years specifically managing residential solar + storage projects.

    * Strong working knowledge of MCS, RECC, BS 7671, G98/G99, and UK grid connection processes.

    * Proven experience managing outsourced installation teams and controlling project costs.

    * Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with customers, DNOs, and stakeholders.

    * Full UK driving licence.

    Preferred Qualifications

    * MCS Installer / NAPIT / BS 7671 qualifications.

    * Experience with SEG subsidy applications.

    * Background in large-scale residential solar rollout and digital project management tools.

    What We Offer

    * Salary: £58,000 – £62,000 per annum (depending on experience)

    * 37.5 working hours per week (Monday to Friday)

    * 30 days holiday per year including bank holidays

    * Company pension scheme

    * Company vehicle (role-dependent)

    * Career development and training opportunities in a fast-growing renewable energy company

    If you are a hands-on Delivery Manager with strong UK residential solar and storage experience, we would love to hear from you
