As Deputy Headteacher, you will play a key role in the strategic and operational leadership of the school. You will work closely with the Headteacher and wider leadership team to drive high standards of teaching, learning and pupil outcomes, while ensuring a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all.
This role would suit an experienced Deputy Headteacher or an ambitious Assistant Headteacher who is ready to step up into a senior leadership position within a SEND setting. Previous experience as a DHT or AHT is essential to be considered for this role. QTS required.
Job Role:
Supporting the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the school
Driving high standards of teaching, learning and pupil progress
Leading on key areas of school improvement
Supporting and developing teaching and support staff
Ensuring high-quality provision for pupils with ASC, MLD and physical disabilities
Promoting a positive, inclusive and nurturing school culture
Working closely with families, external agencies and stakeholders
