About the Role
Tezlom is recruiting a reliable and compassionate PCV Driver with a Category D1 licence (no code 101 restriction) to support transport services for a day care centre for adults with learning disabilities.
You will play a vital role in safely transporting service users to and from the centre, ensuring a positive, respectful, and supportive experience throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely transport service users to and from the day care centre
* Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking where required
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of passengers during journeys
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
* Maintain a clean and safe vehicle at all times
* Provide a friendly, respectful, and supportive service to vulnerable adults
* Follow safeguarding and transport policies and procedures
Requirements
* Valid PCV Category D1 licence (no 101 restriction)
* Previous experience driving PCV vehicles preferred
* Experience working with vulnerable adults or in care settings (desirable)
* Calm, patient, and reliable attitude
* Strong awareness of safeguarding responsibilities
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
