PE Global is currently recruiting for a Machine Operator for a leading multi-national manufacturing client based in Skelmersdale.
This is an initial 12 months contract position.
Hourly rate:
Pay rate: £12.96 day shift
Pay rate: £ 15.81 shift
Pay rate: £ 16.85 night shift
Pay rate: £14.89 FLT days
Working hours: Shift days: 7.50am – 4.45pm Mon to Thurs, then 7.50am to 12.10pm Friday
Training provided
Duties of the role/Responsibilities
• General assembly/packing of components.
• Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.
• Worker will operate production machines to perform operations or produce parts.
• Sets up machines, loads raw material into machines, manually operates machines, and unloads finished product from machine.
• Works from written or verbal instructions and general operating procedures, which requires the application of some judgment and selectivity.
• Operator has control over product quality.
Education/Experience
• No Forklift License required but its nice to have
• Background in manufacturing is preferred
