Supply Desk is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive school in Slough, seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from May 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA who enjoys taking a proactive role in supporting teaching and learning.
About the Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development, working closely with teachers and the wider school team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils
Supporting pupils with SEN and additional learning needs
Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons under teacher guidance
Promoting confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
Supporting assessment, progress tracking, and pupil outcomes
Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Who We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who:
Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Has previous experience working in a school or educational setting
Demonstrates a calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Is confident supporting pupils with SEN, ASD, ADHD, or additional needs
Works well as part of a collaborative team
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
