How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Structural Revit Technician
    Nottingham

This is a great opportunity for a Structural Revit Technician with a solid level of experience to join a well-established, independent Engineering Consultancy based in Nottingham. The business has been operating for over 30 years and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, practical engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors.

They operate as a fully integrated consultancy, covering Civil and Structural Engineering, Environmental and Geotechnical, Highways and Infrastructure and Traffic and Transport. Their project portfolio is genuinely varied, spanning residential, commercial, industrial, education, retail and leisure developments, ranging from smaller bespoke schemes through to large and complex builds.

What stands out with this team is their approach - they work in small, collaborative groups with a real focus on quality, buildability and client relationships. Associates are heavily involved in projects from start to finish, giving the team strong technical support and clear direction throughout.

They're now looking to bring in a Structural Revit Technician with a minimum of around 5 years' experience to support the delivery of structural engineering projects. This role will see you working closely with engineers and senior staff to produce high-quality 3D models and detailed drawings across a range of materials and project types, including both new build and refurbishment schemes.

You'll be involved throughout the design process, developing coordinated Revit models, producing technical drawings and supporting the wider team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. There's a strong emphasis on collaboration, so you'll be working closely with engineers and other disciplines to ensure designs are fully integrated and buildable.

The role would suit someone who is confident using Revit within a structural environment, with a good understanding of building structures and how projects move from concept through to construction. Experience working across different sectors and materials would be beneficial, along with the ability to manage your own workload and contribute to team delivery.

This is a really good opportunity to join a close-knit Consultancy where you'll be given responsibility, variety in your work and the chance to continue developing your technical skills within a supportive environment. The business has a strong level of repeat work and long-standing client relationships, creating a stable and consistent pipeline of projects.
