How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you an Early Years Teacher - including Early Career Teachers (ECTs) - looking for a rewarding part-time role in a supportive and nurturing school environment?

    Tradewind Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming village primary school in the Nottingham area for a Foundation Stage 2 Teacher, starting in September 2026. This is a 2-day per week role, covering a maternity leave post.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, community-focused school with a strong emphasis on creating a caring, inclusive environment where every child is valued and encouraged to thrive.     The Role:

    Teaching within Foundation Stage 2 (Reception)
    2 days per week (job share)
    Maternity cover starting September 2026
    Delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework
    Working collaboratively with a supportive staff teamWhat We're Looking For:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
    Experience within Early Years/Foundation Stage
    A nurturing, creative, and child-centred teaching approach
    Strong understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS curriculum
    Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
    An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)What You Can Expect:
