Salary/Benefits: £26k - £37k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a privately-owned Building Services company, with a strong Water Treatment / Water Hygiene department. They are recruiting in the South East of England for a switched-on Water Treatment Engineer, with a diverse skillset and reliable attitude. You will be conducting ACOP L8 compliance duties, in addition to works on process / technical water systems (including cooling towers, steam boilers and closed systems). You will be travelling across: Basildon, South Benfleet, Canvey Island, Wickford, Billericay, Grays, Tilbury, Romford, Hornchurch, Barking, Ilford, Dagenham, Chigwell, Epping, Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Enfield, Potters Bar, Wembley, Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Beaconsfield, Luton, Harpenden, Slough, Aylesbury, Stevenage, Thame, St Albans, Leighton Buzzard, Hitchin.

Experience / Qualifications:

* Experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer

* Ideally will have undertaken industry-recognised qualifications (i.e. City and Guilds disinfections of hot and cold systems, City and Guilds Legionella Risk Assessing, Steam Boilers, Cooling Towers)

* Fully versed in HSG 274 and ACOP L8 compliance guidelines

* Professional manner

* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

* Closed system testing, analysis and chemical dosing using inhibitors

* Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers

* CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections

* TMV servicing and failsafe checks

* Calorifier inspections and blowdowns

* Flushing on little used outlets

* Performing routine water sampling and temperature monitoring

* Keeping accurate records of works undertaken

* Updating site logbooks
