Salary: £40,000 - £43,000
Job type: 7:00am – 4:30pm -Monday – Friday
The Role
You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a fleet of generators, ensuring maximum availability for hire.
Key responsibilities include:
Service, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators
Fault finding across mechanical and electrical systems
Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Preparing generators and associated equipment for hire
Supporting installation and commissioning of generators on-site where required
Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
Ensuring all work is completed in line with Health & Safety proceduresAbout You
Experience working on generators or similar plant equipment
Strong fault-finding ability (mechanical & electrical)
Experience servicing generators up to 100–120 kVA
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licenceThis role is physically demanding and involves working outdoors, so you should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
