How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Up to £48,000 - High-End Residential - Monday to Friday - Aldgate - NO CALLOUT

    Are you an Electrical Engineer looking for a new challenge?
    An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Aldgate has arisen. 

    CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a static Electrical Engineer to be based in Aldgate, carrying out planned and reactive commercial building maintenance on a high-end residential portfolio. The successful candidate will currently be an electrical engineer and have a strong understanding of servicing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and general building service works at various commercial properties.

    This position would be ideal for an Electrical Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary in the region of up to £48,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
    Emergency lighting tests
    Control Panels
    Changing Ballast
    BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
    Maintain and update Log books
    Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
    Pumps, motors
    Working to Planned Preventive and Reactive maintenance regimes
    Changing taps/washers 
    Managing priorities within contract constraints. 
    Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals. 
    Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours.
    Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.Package Details & Hours of Work

    Salary of £48,000
    Monday to Friday
    8 am to 5 pm
    Over Time availableRequirements

    Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
    17th/18th Edition
    A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
    Multi-skilled
    Good communication skills
