How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Male Support Worker

    Location: Prenton, Birkenhead

    Pay rate: £17.70 per hour

    Job Type: Part time, 2 shifts per week plus bank hours available.

    Shift and schedule: Shifts can be across Monday to Sunday. Day and sleep shifts.

    This is an excellent opportunity helping a male with a Brain Injury live as independently as possible.

    We are searching for Support Workers who share our belief that disability is not a barrier, and it doesn’t have to stop our service users from living their best life and enjoying new and varied experiences.

    Previous experience in care is essential.

    Salary & Benefits:

    Pay rate is £17.70 per hour.
    Weekly pay every Friday.

    The client is a male with a Brain Injury.
    Personal Care is required, assisting with moving and handling.
    The individual loves to go out into the community, going to concerts, watching Football and Animals.
    The shifts are across Monday to Sunday working days and sleep shifts.
    Bank hours available.
    Required to drive the clients vehicle.
    This isn’t just care, it’s about being a companion, helping someone live fully, and making every day count. 

    Successful Applicant:

    Must have a full UK Driving License.
    Experience working with individuals with a Brain Injury and Complex Care.
    Previous experience in care is essential.
    Must be a male Support Worker.
