How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    MONDAY to THURSDAY (Enjoy a long weekend), MORNING & AFTERNOON SHIFTS AVAILABLE, joining a leading specialist that manufactures high-quality products for the construction sector. As a Production Operative, you'll be part of a supportive, collaborative team with excellent training, ongoing development, in a stable and growing business that continues to invest to remain a market leader.

    Location: Near Leicester; commutable from Loughborough, Market Harborough, Hinckley, Melton Mowbray, Wigston, Coalville, Oadby, Narborough, Shepshed, Kegworth and surrounding areas

    AM shift:
    £13.50ph starting going up to £15.60ph after training

    PM shift:

    £16.87ph starting then going up to £19.50ph after training

    Productivity bonus paid weekly

    Operating machinery and production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
    Assembling, packing and preparing products to meet quality standards
    Monitoring production processes to ensure efficiency and minimise downtime
    Conducting basic quality checks and reporting any defects or issues
    Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with Health & Safety regulationsRequirements for Production Operative

    Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not essential
    A strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
    Ability to work effectively as part of a team
    Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
