How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for all aspects of inventory management, warehouse operations, and distribution across internal and external sites. This role plans, coordinates, supervises, and reports on operational activities, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, delivery performance, and continuous improvement through effective leadership and performance management.

    Description

    Lead warehouse operations in line with health, safety, and compliance requirements
    Plan and manage warehouse resources to meet customer and delivery expectations
    Ensure quality objectives, delivery deadlines, and service levels are consistently achieved
    Develop and report monthly KPIs including picking efficiency, OTIF, stock accuracy, damages, and space utilisation
    Drive improvements in warehouse utilisation and operational efficiency
    Manage third-party storage providers through regular reviews and site visits
    Oversee inter-site stock movements to maintain the correct inventory balance
    Ensure warehouse systems are used effectively through training, monitoring, and data integrity checks
    Maintain accurate stock records and ensure master data compliance
    Lead, train, and develop the warehouse team, including performance reviews
    Promote a culture of continuous improvement across warehouse operations
    Act as out-of-hours emergency contact for site security where required
    Manage contractor inductions and ensure policies are communicated and enforcedProfile

    Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics management role
    Strong operational, organisational, and people leadership skills
    Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives
    Confident planner with the ability to manage priorities and meet targets
    Strong communication, delegation, and team management capability
    Good IT skills, including Microsoft applications and Warehouse Management SystemsJob Offer
