How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We provide a range of services such as bespoke manufacturing, stampings, and precious metal scrap refining.     We are currently recruiting for a highly organised Analytical Chemist with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. As our Analytical Chemist, you will provide prompt and accurate chemical analysis of precious metals. You will perform complex analysis involving Fire Assay, as well as instrumental methods, such as XRF, ICP-OES and Potentiometric Titration. You will carry out precision weighing and use high-temperature furnaces.

    What you’ll need to bring to the show:

    - A degree qualification in a chemistry-related discipline (or equivalent), and at least one year’s industry experience in a similar role (post qualification)
    - Team Spirit - you’ll need to be prepared to get involved in whatever it takes to get the job done
    - Strong attention to detail with the ability to also use initiative and work independently
    - The ability to carefully carry out repetitive tasks requiring sustained concentration and dexterous skill
    - A strong work ethic for a busy laboratory generating important data
    - Maintenance of a clean and safe working environment
    - General administration skills & computer literacy
