This person will be responsible for leading the design and structuring of complex, high-value opportunities within the defence and government sector. This role combines technical, commercial, and strategic expertise to create winning solutions for major programmes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Owning and shaping major pursuits from qualification to contract award
* Designing integrated technical and commercial solutions
* Developing pricing, cost models, and negotiation strategies
* Leading bid governance, risk assessment, and approvals
* Managing cross-functional teams across engineering, finance, legal, and delivery
* Ensuring compliance with procurement, security, and regulatory standards
What we’re looking for:
* Strong experience in solution architecture, bid leadership, or commercial strategy
* Proven success leading complex deals
* Background in defence, aerospace, or public sector contracting
* Strong commercial, financial modelling, and negotiation skills
* Familiarity with UK government/MoD procurement processes
* Excellent leadership and stakeholder management capability
