Our client, a well-established and highly respected engineering consultancy, is seeking an ambitious Graduate Structural Engineer to join their growing team based in Hemel Hempstead.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career with a forward-thinking consultancy that offers structured training, hands-on project experience and genuine long-term progression.
The Role
As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers on a range of exciting projects across residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors. You will gain exposure to all stages of project delivery while developing the technical skills required for a successful career in consultancy.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with structural design calculations and analysis
Preparing technical drawings, reports and documentation
Supporting senior engineers on live projects from concept through to completion
Liaising with architects, contractors and external consultants
Attending site visits and project meetings
Using industry-standard software and design tools
Working toward professional Chartership status
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:
A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline
Strong academic understanding of structural principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
Ambition to progress within a consultancy environment
