How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Electrical Project Supervisor required due to some large £multi-million equipment upgrade projects across a large heavy process engineering manufacturing site near Maidstone, Kent. Monday to Friday day shift. Great salary + Paye benefits. 18-24 month contract. 40 hours per week, 8.30 – 5.30 Monday to Friday. 25 days holiday + B/H
    Supporting the team and reporting to the Head of Projects, you will be involved across all stages of project delivery. You will ensure that the highest standards are realised and delivery is on time and within specification and budget.
    Electrical Project Supervisor Requirements:
    * Project design criteria.
    * Layout and process review of equipment
    * Sign off and acceptance of detailed engineering documents
    * P&ID reviews, drawing reviews and strong co-operation between suppliers and process users
    * Travel may be required
    * Implementation of widely varying paper industry projects ranging from 110V to 3.5KV electrical systems to DCS/PLC process control upgrades. Capable of fault finding and tuning Siemens S7 plc and ABB drives equipment.
    * Working closely with OEM suppliers, subcontractors and SW stakeholders to ensure that project scope and specification is thoroughly investigated and understood to ensure deliverables of quality, timely delivery and agreed budgets and are realised.
    * Detailed planning of activities to ensure that available time and resource is used to maximum efficiency within a highly time constrained and fast paced manufacturing operation.
    * Source and manage specialist resource to support with finding bespoke solutions.
    * Manage approved budgets and documentation methods.
    * Development and modification of electrical diagrams.
    * Generation of I/O and process control equipment schedules from P&ID’s.
