Our client is a well-established refrigeration and air conditioning company looking for an Apprentice Engineer to join their growing team. If you have the drive to learn, this apprenticeship offers structured training and a clear pathway to becoming a qualified Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
* Study towards NVQ level 2 and 3 in refrigeration and air conditioning with F-Gas certification.
* Learn to diagnose refrigeration and air conditioning system problems using diagnostic software and specialist hand tools.
* Attend customer sites for planned preventative maintenance, emergency breakdowns, warranty work and system commissioning.
* Support senior technicians and learn industry best practice through mentoring and on-the-job training.
Who They’re Looking For:
* Positive mindset with genuine enthusiasm to learn.
* Ability to diagnose problems analytically and solve technical issues methodically.
* Proficiency using MS Office Suite, diagnostic software and mobile apps.
* Either holding appropriate skilled-based certificates or actively studying towards NVQ level 2 and 3 with F-Gas.
* Willingness to undertake planned standby and call-out cover (weekdays, weekends and bank holidays) once NVQ level 2 and 3 with F-Gas are achieved.
* Valid UK driving licence and confirmed right to work status in the UK.
